Svetlana worked a professional Latin and Ballroom dancer for twenty years. She trained children for competitive sport and organized sports show programs in her homeland of Russia. She began studying yoga and pilates in 1996. She has been teaching Pilates for the past six years. She completed her bachelor of applied science in Novosibirsk Sate University in 1983.

Wendy Chmelauskas
Wendy was first introduced to Pilates after an injury early in life left her with chronic low back pain. Through her practice she remedied her problem and developed a passion for the Pilates method. Eventually, this led to her obtaining her teaching certification through Polestar Education in 2001, and becoming a full-time instructor.

Carolyn McManus
Carolyn has been studying and practicing yoga since 1973 and taught her first yoga class in 1979. She has the privilege and honour of being certified in both Sivananda Yoga and Asthanga Yoga, but has had a variety of other influences and certifications in the last three decades. Carolyn is a Registered Yoga Teacher at the 500-hour level and holds the designation of E-RYT500.

Neil Mark
Neil was first introduced to yoga asanas in 1999 when he was invited by a friend to an all girls class that resulted in one of his most humbling life experiences to date. With being only able to touch his knee caps and having the core strength of a wet noodle there was so much room for opening and strength in the body and mind. His first teacher was blessed a well versed knowledge of all the limbs of Ashtanga yoga. This helped him to cultivate discipline and patience.

Mantak Chia
Recognized very early as having great potential for spiritual development, Mantak Chia was initiated into meditation practices by Buddhist monks at the age of 6. While studying in Hong Kong, he learned Tai Chi Chuan, Aikido and Kundalini Yoga from a variety of teachers. His pursuit of Taoist teachings lead him to meet the White Cloud Hermit, a Taoist Master originally from Central China, living at that time in the mountains not far from Hong Kong. Dharma Mittra
Sri Dharma Mittra has spent most of his life in service to humanity, disseminating the ancient knowledge of how to achieve radiant health and spiritual development. Dharma was born in the late1930's, and has studied Yoga since 1958. Erin Murphy
Erin Murphy's interest in movement and dance began at age 5. She danced in Vancouver, training at Arts Umbrella’s professional program at and then the Ballet B.C. Mentor program. Her dance career took her to Montreal and then to New York City. Through dance Erin began to study Pilates in NYC and loved the strength, energy and movement it gave her in her body.

Jeffrey Armstrong
Jeffrey’s first degree was in Psychology followed by one in Literature. He studied the occult and Metaphysical philosophers of all world cultures until the age of 23 when he met his first Guru from India, His Divine Grace AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Phabhupada, the founder of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness.

Under his supervision, Jeffrey lived in ashrams as a celibate brahmacharya for 5 years serving a wide variety of ashram services including feeding the poor, teaching at universities, cooking, and leading kirtans. He also helped His Grace translate his books: The Bhagavata Purana and other books into English.

Christine Price Clark
Christine is an Anusara-inspired™ yoga teacher who taught widely in Manhattan and Brooklyn before relocating to Vancouver in 2006. She has studied with senior teachers Desiree Rumbaugh, Ellen Saltonstall, and Christina Sell and continues to move toward certification in studies with Anusara founder, John Friend.

Rick Coe has an MA Transpersonal Counselling Psychology from Naropa University. He lives in Vancouver and teaches yoga at Exhale Studio, practices counselling at Jericho Counselling, and is currently training with Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy.

In addition he is developing community workshops combining yoga with with movement and dance modalities, as well as with nature reconnection.
