Yoga can greatly improve performance and recovery for vigorous repetitive, activities like running. Enjoy this hatha yoga flow designed to circulate warmth into the body and flush out lactic acid and muscle tension from key muscles groups.

Hi hikenrungator,
Thanks for your feedback - the other flow that was recently added that can be helpful for runners is Engaging Back Lines (http://www.myyogaonline.com/videos/yoga/engaging-back-lines). Namaste, Kreg MYO

hello, kreg and fellow runner/yoga folks...
this and the hip openers video are such nice calming stretchs to calm my legs (and mainly hips.) kreg- i always inner smile when someone refers to squaring the hips...mine are so in their own place (literal, figurative) i don't even know where to start or how to get them there...my home instructor is so generous in either giving a helping hand or letting it go. :)
i love vancouver!
thanks for a lovely video. i will search for more of yours- what is the name of the new practice you have referenced in earlier posts? cheers. dena. :)

Simple leg stretches. I felt that pigeon pose and a few hip opening stretches lying down would have made my lower body feel fully stretched out.

Hi Annie/agrandma, thank you for your feedback on this practice ... yes, this practice is ideal pre- or post- running session. Also great for recovery from any other exercise routine. Namaste, Kreg MYO

Hi Everyone, I also recommend Rick's 15 min Hip Flow (http://www.myyogaonline.com/videos/yoga/15-minute-hip-flow) as a great post-run/exercise practice - he nicely works into the IT bands and flushing out the hips. Kreg MYO
