This short but powerful Kundalini set will ease the tension in your body, calm your mind, and enable you to find deep sleep. It can be done before bed, or in the middle of the night. Honour your body. Go beyond your mind. Try to complete the set as-is. If you need to modify it, please do: Try tucking your chin instead of letting your head drop back in tabletop pose, or switching to Sukhasana (cross-legged) instead of Vajrasana (kneeling rock pose).

Hi Nicole; thanks for speaking up. Feel free to come into bridge pose instead of tabletop pose if that will work better for you. More on bridge pose is here: http://www.myyogaonline.com/poses/back-bends/bridge-pose-or-spinal-lift-pose-setu-bandhasana Namaste, L

This video was in the beginner section, but there is no way I could get in the back bending table position (dont know the proper term). A modification wasn't even suggested.

I can imagine that for people with excess stress this helps them focus however I was looking for something to help me sleep and after far too many circles and loss of circulation to my legs, I gave up on this one. Reading comments I can see it works for many and might turn back to it if a time comes when I am very stressed and need to do one thing very focused.

This was fantastic for me, it brought up lots of emotions and tension, literally and I felt so much better afterwards. I slept deeply and peacefully. Thank you, I love kundalini, I find it very powerful and effective.

This is definitely not the calming, relaxing practice I was looking for before bed. I didn't enjoy it.

Though I do not practice Kundalini as often as I do other yoga practices, I do like to do at least one session a week. Normally, it is something I do to increase my energy, whereas this practice is to help soothe and release tension to allow restful sleep, I thought I would give it a try and though I wish there were just an extra move or two, it was enjoyable and I am off to see if I can sleep better now :) Thank you.

I gave up after the second time of circling around. :-S Sorry, doesn't seem to be the thing for me.

I've never done any Kundalini yoga before. If this video represents it well, it's probably not the variety of yoga meant for me. It seemed to aim for some trance-like state, using rhythmic movement and breathing. The instruction is very clear and the video sets a calming atmosphere.
