This is such an appropriate video for the winter months when Kapha is at its apex in my body. I look forward to seeing more of your videos and sharing them with my clients who have a tendency to Kapha excess. Thank you so much.

Another question about downward dog...how far back should my toes be from my wrists? I wonder if my legs are too far back on my mat. I'm only 5'4". Thank you!

@indiraallegra I'm glad you enjoyed the class. As for your question, ensure that 1) you keep you pelvis lifted very high as you shift your weight forward into your lunge, 2) engage the support of your core muscles, 3) step forward on an inhale, 4) work on hip openers, 5) think light thoughts! Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for such a skillfully taught, considered (accomodations/health warnings) and wonderfully paced class. I had accidentally ate gluten today at a restaurant and despirately needed to clear my head. The measured pacing of the class actually helped me to move with more grace and flow. I love that you don't race through things. One question: how can i step through downward dog to lunge/warrior more easily, even after much practice, my foot never ever reaches between my hands. Thank you so!!

I have celiac disease. When I accidentally ingest gluten, it puts me in bed for a couple of days. This is a great practice for me after being "glutened" -- clears remaining brain fog.
