Sidestepping into JourneyDance? Want to do Rick Coe's
practice for Depression tomorrow

I now have a touch of arthritis in my right knee ... it is puffed up and painful.
So, I will not be adding on to my personal self-sequenced practice. Hmm, that's a load off my mind. Stay where I am. In a vast, sensual S.E.A. of soft power vinyasa yoga, infused with more pilates than you could shake a stick at. Bonus: Never to be taking the "advanced" class from anyone offering it, either.
But I will be 58 in a few months, anyway.
It is exactly 5 years of regular yoga practice, mostly at home.
Yesterday, I got acquainted with one of the many teachers of JourneyDance. A young woman with a lot of flair (she's also a psychotherapist) and who is a strong kirtan leader. At least as far as I was concerned. She gave me a few ideas on how to approach practice of Bhakti Yoga. But I can extend this to what I do at home:
I think I will ask my knee how it is doing during certain points in my physical practice and write down the answers ...
Aging yoginis never die, they just fade away to places like conscious dance ...
I'm relegated to Hemalayaa's offering on Amazon Unbox, the Bollywood Boogie Workout. It's kinder on my knees than the Bollywood Dance that I was doing from on here ... and it reminds me SO much of my Patricia Moreno dvd "Cardio Burn Yoga" ... you just have to see it ... positive affirmations up the yin-yang
Yesterday, I did half of Bollywood Boogie, and some warm-down stretches. The night before I had done 95 minutes of S.E.A. Change ... but the idea of checking-in after modifying my entry to pigeon pose had not crystallized itself yet ..
.Hmmm ....
Was running out of time ...
