I'm a BIG Cameron fan, too. His practices are most like my own, innovated one that I do (which can take as long as 2 hours) ... I had been taking yoga at a few studios, serially, but always primarily practicing at home. The first one did not like that I had a frequent, lengthy home practice. They may be under "new management" now, but most of their students are dependent (at the cellular level) on what they teach. Old school yoga (and I bet, Cameron, too) had never been like THAT.

I can change my mind about the class I am doing or if I think I should practice but am not feeling motivated (which would usually mean I would skip a live class) I put something from My Yoga on the computer as background music until I actually make it to the mat.

There are never any excuses NOT to practice.
I can choose what I practice and when.
It's really cheap.
I can get to know lots of different yoga styles and find out what's the best for me.
I can have it as warm and cosy as I want.
I can stop the video and go to something else without the teacher probably feeling hurt because I choose to go.
My practice place at home loads up with lots of spiritual energy from which I profit all day long (and everyone coming into the room).
If a video was extraordinary I can simply repeat it as often as I want to.
I am fully responsible for my own spiritual development and not dependent on anyone else.
I can carry this out into the world.

Doing yoga at home with Cameron is ideal....calm, emotive, releasing and super. The best online teacher I have used in this year. I have incorporatd my experience into my yoga teaching, definately improved as my students certainly notice. Phyllis Kent UK....22/sept/2012
