I really like your wrist free practices! One thing that I wish was included in all class descriptions though, is how long shavasana is. It would be helpful when choosing the right class for my allotted time. Sometimes I want a shorter one, sometimes longer, just a suggestion. :)
Also, wish we could queue up a weeks worth of classes, or even a list of classes we want to try, instead of having to favorite them right away. Sorry, should have wrote an email,
Thanks for such a great practice!

Thanks for this video Kreg. I hurt a small muscle in my sholder and needed a downward dog free practice. SOOOOOOOOO appreciated this.

Hi jlwk22, as long as you have received clearance from your health professional, you enjoy many poses that do not involve arm/wrist loading:
*standing poses like Crescent Lunge, Warrior 1 / 2 / and 3, Tree Pose
*forward bends like Uttanasana, Janu Sirsasana, Wide Leg Forward Bend, Childs Pose
*simple seated twists and lying twists
*other seated poses like Baddha Konasana, Cow Face (with no arms), 90/90 hip opener pose
*restorative poses like Legs Up the Wall pose, Savasana, Supta Baddha Konasana
Just be mindful of how you transition from one pose to the next avoiding sudden weight bearing on the arms and hands.
Namaste,
Kreg Weiss

I see you have practices which are wrist free. I am recovering from a broken ulna, radius and elbow joint. Any suggestions for exercises/poses without putting pressure on elbow or arm?

Excellent! I really appreciate your calm voice and the cadence. You've struck the balance in providing sufficient instruction at the right time to allow the practice to move nicely along. The wrist free aspect is greatly appreciated as a component as all the downward dog gets heavy/straining some times. I'm new on myyoga and will continue with your videos- thank you.

hi yogagrammie, great that these wrist-free practices have been helpful with your wrist recovery - yes, it is always ideal to schedule in some 'wrist breaks' in one's practice - every tissue in the body needs cycled rest from loading. namaste, kreg

I have done the wrist free harmonious hips spinal flow several times now and LOVE it! Will continue to use this practice even after my wrist heals. Wrists always can use a break now and then! :)

Hi yogagrammie ... great to hear you were able to use this practice effectively while recovering from carpal tunnel surgery. You may find my other 'wrist-free' flow helpful as well: http://www.myyogaonline.com/videos/yoga/wrist-free-harmonious-hips-spinal-flow
