In this Live Studio Session, Meghan Currie takes you through a sweet and sweaty twisty flow designed to wring you out! Starts out really gentle preparing the core for a thorough cleaning and builds into deeper twisting poses, arm balances and ends with a gentle heart tuner. Filmed at Semperviva Yoga Studios' Kits Beach location in Vancouver, BC.

Would love to see more full-length classes from Meghan! Far from childish, I find her style metaphorically sophisticated, expressive, creative, fiery and real (and I'm probably twice her age).

I've taken classes with Meghan and this studio class is truly her personality and how she teaches. If you, energieyoga, would rather not have the "yoga dialog", it's easy enough for you to pick other teachers. I know many students of Meghan's, including me, finds that her positivity adds to my practice.

@maggiesarebest Thanks for the advice. That sounds exactly like something they'd teach you to say in teacher training.

@energiayoga Take what you like, and leave what you don't. I am a teacher and I find that bright imagery works really well for a lot of people. Focus on your practice and don't allow the languaging to detract from it.

Thanks Meghan. I really enjoyed this class and I very much felt like I was back in Vancouver in the Kits studio with you. It was challenging, but not so much that I give up at home. Thanks!

This class felt really, really good, & the teacher has a great asana practice herself, but.....do we realy need to hear all the cheesy yoga dialogue? This would be great for kids but do adults need to hear: 'Sprinkle the fingers, peel the whatever, head heavy like a coconut, shake it out like a rug, look at the floor lovingly, flutter your lips, like we're riding down the rapids, draw the stars to your heart, ginger ale bubbles, drink the universe???' I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. You're a good teacher, you don't need to say all this rubbish, especially, 'let go of whatever is not serving you.'

Thanks for this one, Meghan. Challenging and detoxifying. And thanks for the reminder that this moment is unique and there will never be any other like it. That used to be my mantra, and You´ve kindly brought me back to it :D Namaste

wow-that was pretty intense. The poses aren't very advanced, but it's fierce and cleansing. Nice sequences.
