Annie Carpenter leads a standing pose lab. Standing poses make up the majority of Yoga Asana practice for the first 10 or more years of steady practice, teaching us to align and strengthen our legs as the base for a healthy spine and nervous system. We'll consider these powerful poses and their effects, learning how to create clear language in each plane of movement, and essential modifications for various levels of flexibility and strength.

I'm learning so much with this teacher. Her sweet way to guide the class and at the same time, her rigorousity in the posture. In what manner so simple and my body does not suffer and my mind is not stressed!!. Thank you, Annie. More classes please!!!

Wow! Here's how I learned I had an unhappy sacrum. I'll be watching this again and again to fix the muscle (and mental!) memory until my sacrum says "wheeeee". Gracias Annie!

I am one of those yogini's who have a daily practice for over 30 years and from the old Iyengar tradition of squaring those hips in vira 1, 11, + triko. I have been suffering, yes suffering (now know I brought on myself,)from S.I. derangement thus a Very UNHAPPY SACRUM. Now I have hope that I will be able to be practicing till or beyond 108. THANK YOU ANNIE!!!!!!
