This 45 minute standing practice is from fitness expert and yoga instructor Nicki Doane's Maya Yoga Vinyasa Fusion Standing Flow Series DVD. She combines the practices of Asana -- yoga poses, with Pranayama -- conscious breathing. The physical focus of this yoga lesson plan is a balanced approached to standing strength, and the broader focus of finding a deep inner strength that supports everything we do. This practice balances traditional fitness notions of leg strength with awareness of developing a strong, steady breath and a quiet mind.

The best short flow class I've done...Nicki is the bomb. Please upload a full 1.5 hour flow!

this is definitely not an ALL LEVELS practice. i would label it an intermediate practice because of the many chatarunga vinasas and the fast pace as well as some of the advanced standing poses.

That's was a great vinyasa. More relaxation required to consolidated the practice would of made it complete.

I have been doing the videos on this site for a while now and this was the first one that has actually injured me. What did I do wrong? Perhaps this video is not for all levels? I am still new at this and I have a lot of pain in my shins, ankles, and the arches of my feet. Can anyone explain? Perhaps I did the standing poses incorrectly?

This was my first practice on this site and I really enjoyed it. The flow was great for strengthening and energizing my body. The breath work kept me centerd.

This class is very similar to the last two classes I've done from Nicki Doane. Moves very fast, NOT for beginners!
