This shortened version of Rick Coe's Restorative Yoga Class blends classical restorative yoga with yin yoga. Poses are intended to create a deep calm in your body and leave you feeling grounded and clear. The postures gently open and release tension from the body. The accompanying sounds of crystal bowls will focus and re balance the mind.

I liked the postures, but the background music made me feel very anxious. It took me about half the video before I overcame that feeling.

Thank you so much for the beautiful restorative videos. I also love the original version, but this one is easier to fit in to a busy schedule. Blessings, Becca

This is a wonderful, meditative class; the 98-minute version is even better, allowing for even deeper meditation. I agree with AWady, that a wall yin class given by Rick would be most pleasant.

Hi cindy7graham, The best approach to designing classes for speciality groups is to create a flow based from your knowledge and experience. Then take this flow to a qualified movement/exercise specialist like a physiotherapist (take him/her out for lunch). Review the flow and discuss the target group as well as your concerns. They will likely be able to offer safe modifications and suggestions to make this class appropriate. Namaste, Kreg MYO
