Mellow Flow is a unique and beautiful blend of beginner to intermediate asanas that will strengthen and tone the body, as well as soothe the mind and nourish the spirit. It was developed by Janet Stone as a deep, sumptuous, heart-opening practice fused with love. A place where the body can enjoy deep release, and physical rejuvenation, the spirit can breathe, and we melt into the center of our hearts.

This class felt great. Lots of flowing moving within the poses. Not what I usually do, but I liked it! It's a keeper.

Great practice, thank you!
I liked the music and thought it went perfectly with the asanas.
You may want to allow yourself more time at the end in corpse pose.

I found it very similar to the wondeful Shiva Rea's practices!!! I liked it and as far as the knees, not all practices are suitable for everyone, we are our best teachers and hopefully we also know by now how to modify and respect our challenges. I enjoyed the practice as it is a style of yoga that I also love learning and teaching!!! Thank you!

Mellow?? I was sweating bullets. Especially during the squat series. Great class. I could do all of the pose except for the the one legged squat raises. My knees said no way. I also agree that this class is hard on the knees. Mine were sore this morning. I took a workshop with her and she has definitely grown since this dvd was made. Her latest dvd got rave reviews on amazon.. Hopefully she'll make some classes just for MYO.

This class is definitely not mellow on the knees and I would not recommend it for those who have problems with that area as variations are not offered. It is beautifully produced, which sometimes can be a detriment, right down to the action movie music which breaks the bliss of a lovely "Om" as the credits roll. That said, I really enjoyed the fluidity of the movement and Ms. Stone's soothing words. I will look forward to trying one of her other classes.
