I really dug this, thank you! I was a bit wary of POWER yoga, expecting it to be a more aerobic style practice, sort of yoga for people who really want to be doing zumba or some such; this was a great introduction, lots of advice and guidance, and some interesting and challenging poses thrown in. I was surprised actually at how open my hips have become. 50 minutes flew by!
Thanks again!

Breath is truly the focus and lead in this practice, gently moving the body through flow and into poses. Mental focus on breathing and the sound of it keeps the mind from wandering. It's a lesson and/or reminder, and unusual to encounter in my experience, other than in kundalini. I loved that when easing into warrior pose, at the exact moment my mind began to wander, Ryan quoted something like: "...remember it's not worrier pose, it's warrior pose." Thank you Ryan.

Hey Ryan,
I have a question about strength building. I have nothing else to do but yoga everyday but I'm still not pressin' into handstand. Would you be willing to do a vid on strength building excercises that lead into handstand and its cool relatives?
Thank you for all your awesome vids
