Nerves in neck, shoulders, upper and even lower back start firing about 15 minutes into this practice - this is easily one of the hardest practices for me; the challenge to keep neck, shoulders and hips aligned at all times, especially during any arms/shoulders back & out/up pose. Nervous system just keeps unloading....it makes binds & bird of paradise feel like a cake walk by comparison. But though the challenge is great, the payoff is shockingly good - the positive after effects stick with me for over 24 hours after. Doing twice a week minimum along with my Vinyasa practices. Thank you!

Thank-you. Got so much out of this class and feel so different now, from the shoulders up.
More lightness, more balance.
I will be doing this practice again.
Interesting the psychology behind shoulders-head forward. Never thought of it this way before.
Namaste!

OMG LOVE LOVE LOVE this class! Most relaxation I've had in Savasana in a very long while, most likely due to the proper alignment of my upper body for once. Namaste, namaste, namaste...

I feel taller after this practice! This is definitely going to be in my weekly routine. It will help strengthen my neck and put the curve back into it. Thank you!

Hi Ashleigh- I really enjoyed your class. I find your teaching style to be so refreshingly clear and bring a relaxed awareness to your classes. I like your attention to detail, precision, and commitment. Felt very safe in your classes. Love it! I have a question re. gaining flexibility in my upper back. I'm petite and have a very flexible lower back, and I move from my low back/hips. How can I safely open and stretch the upper back, without activating the lower back? Thank you so much! Your classes really are great, I feel like I'm with a real pro who really knows her stuff. -Emily

Not a fan. Did not always "get " the cues there were so many of them.

Interesting practice. Felt a bit stressed in the neck though.....Teacher is a wealth of information but there were waaayyyyyy too many "um" & "so'" in her dialogue.

Thank you. I plan to do this frequently to make space in my body and align, head, throat and heart on and off the mat.
