I continue to enjoy this practice regularly, and would really love to see more ashtanga specific practices from Nico. Perhaps something to help one in building on some of the challenging poses in the traditional sequence (not included in this particular session) such as head stand, crow, and tips on transitions through the arms?

I enjoy this session very much and come back to it about once a week. I do notice though, that as someone with tight hamstrings it's easy to unintentionally over stress the hamstrings in this session. Perhaps it's the toe grasping that does it; it's too tempting for me to pull myself a little too far into the pose. It is only the next day that I realise I overdid it, as during the practice I always felt as though I was moving within my limits. So this is just a little cautionary note for those of us who would love to have loose hamstrings but don't! It's a most enjoyable practice and I'll return to it with more caution next time.

This practice continues to be a staple for me. For the past year, it hasn't failed to offer a solid morning practice whenever I turn to it. Thank you.

Feeling stretched out and ready for a big today after this class... you should already be familiar with Ashtanga sequence to enjoy the flow of this practice. Excellent fundamentals with some fun challenges thrown in. Ahsante sana, thank you... I will do again!

I thoroughly enjoyed this practice and will return to it often I am sure. If you are a beginner and/or have injuries be warned: he does not provide modifications for any of the poses. (Fish with arms off the matt . . .) Be prepared to modify for yourself. One other note: Since he changes direction during several of the standing poses you might try positioning your computer on the side of your mat instead of the front. So you don't end up with your back to the screen.
