Classical Ballet Barre a Terre Influenced Pilates

This sequence combines the core strengthening focus of Pilates with Classical Ballet repertoire found in Barre a Terre. Being on the ground brings dancers into a different relationship to gravity compared to the traditional standing barre. The result is increased length, strength and range of motion.

Great for practitioners who want to add some classical ballet movement to their Pilates mat practice, as well as core toning, mid-back and hips. Note - Not recommended for those with Osteoporosis or Osteoarthritis. Also not recommended if you are pregnant.
