this is an amazing hip opener... I have had to stop all agressive activity as my right side body and hip are in rough shape. Even doing an upward dog, the pain in my right back is excruciating.. Do you have any suggestions for me.. When I walk my right hip clicks and my goal is to get back into shape to run again. I was able to get thru 28 min but that is it for now.. I will continue every day a little farther thru your practice. Thank you

Thank you so much Mark. My first online yoga class and nearly my first yoga ever. I definately have to gain some strength and balance but it felt great and I can't wait to do it again tomorrow. Cheers!

I enjoyed this. I have practiced yoga before but I am still a beginner. I enjoyed the length of hold time in poses allowed me to relax into it, and the words spoke helped me check my body and really help me in my posture. I never got that from a class at gym. I am very grateful for this ;-) ♥♥♥ Thank you

well i disagree with some of the comment below I am a beginner and a man and I find that video perfect for hip opener. i am doing it probably 3 times a week. Of course if you try to go for the most advance option right from the start you will fail as a beginner but he alway explain the easier posture that you can do instead and in term of opening the hips it gets the job done wonderfully. thank you for this practice

I agree, this work-out is not really for beginners but Mark is such an excellent teacher that you can easily follow him without watching the video. He also has that soft but clear voice which makes the session feel so relaxing.

Not a beginner video.
I chose to do this on a day that I had the flu and was achey. I needed a gentle yoga, and this sounded like it. When I'm feeling better, this will be fun, but the title needs to change.

I am a true beginner. After attempting this video I realize I am a pre-beginner. I will be practicing this more often.

Thank you. I am restarting my regular yoga practice after a long lapse, and this has been so helpful for remembering good breathing and alignment. After only doing this practice twice, I am already feeling stronger and more accepting of positions that cause "discomfort". What an amazing feeling!
