In addition to teaching, Savatrii hoped to create new ways to help others and give back on a larger scale. While furthering her yoga education in Sedona, AZ in 2006, she stumbled upon a beautiful photograph of the Dalai Lama with words of wisdom printed below? ?There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy?.Our own heart is our temple, the philosophy is kindness.? After reading those words, the Lift a Spirit Foundation was born. Offering a way for others to give back to their global community and practice compassion. |
