Stomach Fire: Digestive Tonic

The stomach fire tonic is taken to increase digestive fire and aid in absorption of nutrients. If a person feels tired or bloated after meals, or feels like the food just sits there like a lump in the stomach, they may have low digestive fire.
Many people experience smoother digestion, cleansing effects and even reductions in seasonal and food alleregies by taking this tonic.
Ingredients:
1/2 mug warm (not hot!) water
1 teaspoon to 1 Tbsp* unpasteurized apple cider vinegar with mother, or use lemon juice if you find the vinegar to be too strong.
1/2 tsp (or to taste) unpasteurized (raw) honey.
The unpasteurized part is important because the honey and vinegar have enzymes that aid in digestion!
* Start with 1 tsp and gradually work up to 1 Tbsp Apple cider vinegar.
Sometimes but rarely, people will feel a burning sensation in the stomach or throat about two minutes after drinking this. Do not consume this if you have a stomach ulcer. If you have any pain from drinking this, drink a glass of milk or take some yogurt immediately and discontinue use!

Can you tell me does fresh lime juice work just as well in your digestive tonic? I have a whole bag of fresh limes which I tend to by rather than lemons.
