Decadent Chocolate Chip Cookies

A rich family recipe. These cookies are delicious. You can substituts walnuts for pecans if you wish. Use organic ingredients whenever possible.
Preparation time: 25 minutes
Cooking time: 12 - 15 minutes
Blend:
1 1/3 cups real butter
2 free range eggs
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 1/2 tsp real vanilla
2 finely grated squares bakers unsweetened dark chocolate
Mix Dry ingredients separately:
2/3 cup ground organic oats (use a hand-mixer or blender to blend oats until semi-fine)
2 cups organic unbleached whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
2/3 cup coconut (unsweetened)
1/2 tsp sea salt
Gradually blend dry ingredients into sugar/butter mixture. Mix well.
Stir in:
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Place spoonfuls of cookie dough onto a c ookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for
12 - 15 minutes
Let cool.
