Hello,
It's a tricky question - I don't have a single answer for menopause, as it is far more directed towards the individual, the symptoms they are experiencing, family and personal medical histories, etc. Treatments range from diet and lifestyle changes that address not only the symptoms of menopause but the changing needs of a female body that is going/has gone through menopause (focus on cardiovascular health, bone health, and endocrine balance), herbs, acupuncture, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (HRT using hormones that are identical to those found in humans, rather than the current HRT which uses hormones that are either sourced from horses or are synthetically produced), homeopathic medicine, etc. No two menopausal patients are treated exactly the same way!
Good nutrition from a whole food based diet rich in vegetables, regular activity that includes weight bearing exercise to support bone strength, adequate sleep, stress modification, and interventions as needed to alleviate symptoms are the backbone of treatment to make the transition through menopause as seamless as possible.
Warmly, Dr. Demierre

Thanks so much. I am doing those things exactly...and know that the natural way is the best. Every woman will go through it and yes in different ways. Appreciate your input.
