i Im struggling to lose weight, but evry time I excercise it takes forever to lose just 5 pounds. i way 275 what are some quick easy steps can do besides excercise?

losing weight is a complex issue that involves addressing caloric intake, maintaining caloric output (exercise), reducing stress (which reduces weight gaining hormone production), proper rest, and positive self image.
regarding nutrition, I recommend exploring an alkaline forming diet - calorie restriction and dieting does not work - switching to an alkaline forming diet can drastically curb cravings and enhance the body's metabolism ... our Back to Health with Plant-Based nutrition is a great intro to this: http://www.myyogaonline.com/programs
patience is key as well - the body adapts to certain metabolic 'set points' ... if you have been at a certain weight for an extended period of time, the body can tend to resist moving away from that set point
