Starting the Yoga program tonight. Have been having some digestion problems and hope getting back on track with yoga will help! Wish me luck! :)

      • Everything seems to regulate and balance when I make practicing yoga a priority in my life. From heartburn to my overall state of mind. I saw in your bio you explore many mediums for wellness. I am looking for music to listen to when I practice at home to stay in the zone. I can offer suggestions on great high energy music for cardio workouts. I just added this song to my running in mix: http://www.youtube.com/endthebonk

      • Hi! Thanks for your post. I will check out your youtube link when I get home. For relaxation music I will often put on pandora.com in the background and choose a station such as new age ambient or classical piano. Pandora is a great way to get introduced to new music!

Reading The China Study. Amazing book on nutrition! Very well written and has many scientific studies and research.

        • I like the beginners yoga that is on the first step of this program with Marla and the Sunset Relaxation video. I started this program because I wanted to get the most out the site in regards to Yoga but didn't know what videos to start with. I actually did the pilates alot with, I think, Kristin McGee and really liked that. I'll have to try the candlelight yoga soon! I defietly know what you mean about dairy. I also think that is harder to give up than meat. I try to remind myself often all the reason why dairy is not good for me and that helps. Also, after my vegan cleanse, I will not be eatign dairy often by any means (which I never did) but will allow myself some sometimes as a treat. Have you tried any of the soy cheeses or alternative "milks"? The dairy free fudge bars at whole goods are great!

        • hi there! if you guys miss the creaminess of dairy try chocolate coconut milk or vanilla almond milk works very well when you're craving something like a milk shake. I use the original almond milk for cereal and tastes better than regular milk. Vanilla almond milk works well in fruit smoothies too! :D
