I tried a yin yoga video for the first time the other day and the instructor puts you in an asana with the aim to compress the lower back. I have always been told that compressing the lower back is a bad thing and to avoid it. I would like to know when it is a good thing and when it is bad as well as why. Thank you!
Thank you Jesse Enright for making the first video I tried on MyYoga. You answered many question that I have had for years. I look forward to the rest of my experience on this site being just as good as this one.
