      I am having some pain with doing downward facing dog. I know my hamstrings are tight but it is hurting more in my shoulders than legs and feels better when I get onto my knees to do it. Do you have any suggestions?

      • Have you tried putting blocks under your wrists? I find this helps alleviate most of the pain I get in my wrists and shoulders. Also, you could try dolphin pose instead. Here is an example. http://www.yogajournal.com/poses/2462 You could also alternate between down dog and child's pose. Good luck!
