More About Me

My Occupation is
I am currently a student, as well as, a nanny to my Godson George (in my profile pic), and his older brother Joseph. I love being a part of their lives, watching them grow, and teaching them!

My hobbies/interests are
creating things, venetian masks, prop-making, sewing, singing, dancing in the rain, camping, kayaking, the beach, learning to surf, tattoo art, photography, special effects make-up, theatre, and pretty much anything else that is beautiful--i.e. fine art, sunsets, landscapes, animals, trees...nature in general.

One secret that helps me to stay healthy is
Avoid things or people that stress you out; while you can't change, or accept them, sometimes you can remove yourself from the situation.

My wellness goals are
My goal is to learn how to live my life so that I have the least amount of stress possible. I want to feel at peace with all of the things in my life that I actually have control over, and let the rest roll right off my shoulders.

I see myself achieving my wellness goals by
By focusing my energy on breathing, by ensuring time to practice yoga poses, and by letting go of all the destructive habits I have picked up along my journey thus far in life.

My inspirations are
People who don't step on others to reach their goals. Read "Hope For The Flowers" by Trina Paulus. That is what inspires me. Also, sunsets, art, crafts, anything beautiful that was made by hand, or from unexpected materials.

A little more about me
I don't want to make the same mistakes my parents made. I want to change my mind, and I believe practicing yoga can help me do that. Good luck to everyone else out there who is ready to make a change in their life for the better!

MMMMmmmmmm...Oatmeal with blueberries and strawberries for breakfast!

                • fruit should be consumed by itself and on an empty stomach! the reason is because fruit digests quicker and easier than any other foods. If there is other food in your stomach with the fruit, then the fruit is blocked and cannot pass through like it wants to, and so it sits in your gut and quickly rots- resulting in fermentation and flatulence. Rotting fruit in your gut is consumed by bacteria, and you are unable to get much , if any nutrients from it. The fermentation of the fruit also releases small amounts of alcohol into your system. please dont waste your delicious berries- enjoy them by themselves!
