I have been practicing Yoga since 2003 and it is an amazing addition to my life. I wish I had discovered it ages ago. Hard working, hard exercising, trying to ignore my age.

More About Me

My Occupation is
Project manager for multiple websites.

My hobbies/interests are
EXERCISE! Love to garden and can my produce. Like watching movies, reading, and YOGA!

One secret that helps me to stay healthy is
When things get too stressful, I automatically resort to long, slow, deep breathing to steady my mind and body. I concentrate on my breath and try to push away intruding thoughts until I have calmed down.

My wellness goals are
Practice Yoga for the rest of my life. Continue to exercise EVERY day. Love those around me, cherish my family and friends.

I see myself achieving my wellness goals by
Concentrate on being a good person in every aspect of my life. In every move you make and every word you say, you should aim to be true.

My inspirations are
My 85 year old dad who still exercises faithfully. Katherine Hepburn for being so forward thinking and independent while she was alive. Dalai Lama for his inspirations.

A little more about me
Being an Air Force brat growing up, I still love meeting new people and making new friends.

Found another good short practice, perfect for after a good workout. Kerri Kelly Empowered Athlete. Nice flow, great stretches. Happy to find yet another great practice on MYO!

Oooooh, too many days without any Yoga. I feel like I'm going thru withdrawal! I can actually feel myself getting tight and uptight. Better check out the new David Magone 30 min standing strength practice. Looks great and just short enough to fit in tonite.

Renewed my membership for another month without hesitation. I have done more Yoga in the month of June than I have in ages. It's so nice to be able to even do short 15-20 minute practices to balance out my day. My mental outlook is so much better, my stress levels are totally manageable and my body is able to do harder workouts and work around the house and yard without issue. Yoga is my Fountain of Youth, no doubt Thank you My Yoga Online and all the wonderful instructors I'm discovering!

More than two hours tilling and cultivating the garden usually leaves me sore and stiff, but after a bit of a rest and some supper I just did a challenging half hour Kreg Weiss practice that has left me feeling so warm and stretched out and not sore. Of course, now its time for a good shower..haha. But I feel wonderful and will enjoy a quiet evening. I LOVE THIS SITE!!!!

OMG I can't believe how mean and uptight my CC client is! Nothing is EVER good enough for them, sales numbers are never high enough, and they make me feel like I'm an idiot who doesn't know what I'm doing. Thank goodness my boss is understanding and stands behind me 100%. She's even considering dropping them as a client as everyone in the office has had to put up with their BS. Today I lost my temper and even hung up on them. I NEVER lose my temper - not that kind of person. I try to stay calm and level headed, but they pushed me too far. Tonite I think I'll need a little extra meditation with my Yoga practice. Thank goodness for Yoga. It gets me thru stressful days dealing with stressful people whether at home or at work. I need to bring back that Zen feeling I've had. Deep breaths..the day is almost over. Maybe I need to send this client a little loving kindness? Although I hate to say it probably wouldn't work on them. Gee, that's not nice either. But they grate on my nerves. Must get calm!

Happiness is a warm sunny day, dirt under my fingernails from the garden, and a lovely Yoga practice to end the afternoon. I can't rave enough about MYO!!!!! One of the best sites I've ever found and SOOO many wonderful Yoga practices. What a way to spend part of my weekend!

                              • Busy, busy weekend but still feel great. Decided to start my week with some awesome David Magone Yoga instead of a hardcore workout and I'm so glad I did. Now I feel superb, relaxed and all the stiffness and aches created from the weekend are gone. Ahhhhhhhhh.

My 2 week free membership expired but I am enjoying MYO so much that I decided to get a paying membership. To be $10 a month is well worth all the variety I'm finding here. Thank you everyone for providing such amazing Yoga.

                                • David Magone's Yoga for Hip & Hamstring Flexibility is absolutely amazing! I will definitely be doing more of his practices. Thank you! I missed out on visiting MYO for the past couple of days due to Internet connection issues and I felt I was getting a little cranky. One hour later, all is right with my world. It's such a beautiful sunny day, and I love the sounds of summer..the birds singing, kids laughing, boats down on the lake. It's such a great time of year. I'll go plant some more flowers shortly and keep the beauty of this day going. Namaste and thank you Creator!

I know that Yoga and meditation are working for me when my supervisor tells me how well I handle a very difficult client. I stay calm and try to keep the client calm which is no easy task as he is quite the drama queen. He should try some Yoga himself. And as always, am discovering delightful practices here and am so thankful!

                                  • The 3 Week Toning Practice with David Magone is one of the BEST I've done on MYO so far! Totally amazing! I can't recommend this enough! Wonderful instruction, never had to look at the screen. Challenge but total relaxation. My breathing was steady and the 15 minute guided meditation at the end was out of this world. I was so into it! GREAT instructor! GREAT practice!

I feel so lucky to have found this site. Trying all new instructors I've never even heard of. Just did Clara Oss' Gumy Legs and feel amazing. After sitting all day and then biking home from work. Followed with Kreg Weiss Revolving Ujjayi Meditation. Really tapping into some good feelings and deep breathing.

After a long trip to SD and back, I found myself feeling rather stiff although the trip was really excellent. After a brief nap (hotel beds just aren't the same as home) I checked out some Yoga by Bernie Clark who I am really starting to enjoy. Yin Yoga and Energy Body really worked out some of the kinks. And then followed it with his Meditation on Mindful LIving. I feel better than the nap did and could sit here and do more Yoga all afternoon. But on the subject of Mindful LIving I think I will go outside and plant some of my flowers that have been patiently waiting for me. I wish I could carry this feeling with me forever and know that I can if I continue to do more mindful Yoga and keep my heart and my mind free and open.
