I find I am breathing deeper and longer without thinking twice. I feel I am standing up straighter and more conscious of what my body is telling me. It's a real connection that is new. Lastly I find that I am trying to time eating around doing the yoga practices.

Heh, sit bones. When I was watching the beginner videos, I would here Marla refer to the rear end as something like "sit balms". I thought it was a foreign language word, that I wanted to find out what it meant. I think it's "sit bones"?? Thought that was funny that my brain heard something different.

Just got done with another beginner video from Marla. I did the whole thing and man what an experience. Waking up from shavasana(sp?) was awesome. I felt a real intense...vibrational feeling inbetween my eyes, it startled me awake! Of course I feel limber, relaxed, and calm after it all.

I did another beginner yoga, the one from my program and it went great. 61 minutes passed so fast! I found out that my hips are way too tight when I did some of the moves. I could feel my muscles stretching in that area like crazy. When we did the relaxation thing at the end, I swear I was seeing colors in my head. Maybe it was the blood or my imagination. Felt good anyways.

Can one yoga practice alter my thinking? I was picking up pine cones in my backyard, and I noticed that I was arching my back and squatting differently...almost like that cow pose stance.. One practice has made me move differently...very cool. I am going to do the practice again this morning, so it will be my 2nd go.

hi ricardo, yoga is interesting in this way that it reveals awareness in so many forms ... what is best about yoga, is that the less we 'expect' from our practice, the more unexpected revelations and truths come about ... kinda of cliche, but it is truly about going with the flow of each practice and each breath ... questions bubble to the surface, truths reveal themselves, layers of awareness begin to peel away like an onion ... note: this 'onion' is infinite with layers hence why our practice is a life-long journey ... namaste, kreg MYO

I'm floating... First Yoga practice, and it was tough, I sweat when I didn't think I would. I have a new respect for it. The shavasana part was very cool. I felt very relaxed, and calm.
