Hello! My name is Brandi and I am a young woman who is highly motivated to become a yoga instructor. I currently share an apartment with my boyfriend, attend school full-time and work at a waitress at wonderfully inspiring restaurant.

My hobbies/interests are
As cliche as it is, I enjoy long walks on the beach under the stars, strolls through parks, picnics and I have a passion for health and yoga.
One secret that helps me to stay healthy is
I always keep an 'intention' for everything that I do, whether it be working or school work or yoga/meditation, I always know why I'm doing it and that motivates me to get it accomplished.
My wellness goals are
I simply want to be as healthy as I possibly can be without cutting out lean protein (chicken/turkey). I would like to lose just a few pounds to tone up and learn to cut out sweets almost completely (chocolate is often just too tempting on bad days).
I see myself achieving my wellness goals by
Maintaining that intention and continuing to do yoga and see the differences in my body. I know that overall health is accomplished through activity, mindfulness and wholesome meals.
My inspirations are
My boyfriend is my rock: he is incredibly supportive of what I do and I am doing everything I can to get him into a healthy lifestyle. My family inspires me in the sense that many of them are not fully well and I feel they can live vicariously through my health and happiness.
A little more about me
I would love any ideas or thoughts on how to go about becoming a yoga instructor next year. What steps I should take now, what books I should buy, what schools I should attend when I'm ready, etc. Thank you all for being such a great community that fits all of my health needs and encourages me to be a better person.
