Great question! The cleanse is flexible. If you were eating a whole, vegetarian and mainly veggie diet for years, and you have been listening to your body about including some meat, it is possible that you simply do not have cleansing work to be done. Listening to your body is always the best idea. Certainly if eating meat helps you to maintain your blood sugar and is working for you, I would suggest continuing. You reap many benefits of safely cleansing though food by just increasing the amount of cleansing foods, like lemon, spirulina, sprouts, radishes...
About dairy: fermented, probiotic dairy is the most beneficial. Greek yogurt, although not on the cleansing side of the spectrum, has numerous benefits including helping you to increase the absorption of nutrients. During your cleanse you may choose to include it for its probiotic benefits. Other foods, like unpasteurized kimchi and sauerkraut are also probiotic foods and happen to be cleansing too.

Thank you so much for your time. As I've begun this cleanse, it has occurred to me little is different than my normal diet, with the exception of, as you mentioned the increased and intentional addition of natural cleansing foods. I'm deeply appreciating the specific recipes and information with regards to these nutrients. Off to drink morning lemon juice! Cheers
