Social worker, educator, writer, and workshop presenter for close to 30 years (23 in Canada) and full time caregiver to my 91 year old WWII veteran mom.

One secret that helps me to stay healthy is
great compassion for my lovable human self
My wellness goals are
right now I have been extremely housebound and one dimensionally focussed on end of life caregiving. So for now I would like to simply be able to get back to the things that I love to do that make me - me.
I see myself achieving my wellness goals by
I see this happening in the near future when my responsibilities for mom are completed. In the meantime just remembering to breathe, stay present, slow down, pay attention feels like a wellness goal.
