I have been enjoying yoga for nearly three years now, it has become a way of life for me, I only wish there were more yogis in my area to learn and grow with. I am 49 years young and I did not want to stiffen up as the years came, but be able to enjoy all that I always have.
My Occupation is
Professional writer, graphic artist and digital photographer.
My hobbies/interests are
Yoga, hiking, yoga hiking, photography, my grandkids, meditation
One secret that helps me to stay healthy is
Refusing to believe that there is something I cannot do because of my age.
My wellness goals are
I have no thyroid and struggle with weight, yoga has brought me to a healthier weight consistently and I hope to reach those healthy goals one day soon as well as incorporate all good lifestyle habits as I can into my life.
I see myself achieving my wellness goals by
By keeping myself in-tune with my needs, reaching out for meditation, positive energy, and exercise rather than negative thoughts and bad habits.
My inspirations are
This site right here was my beginning as we had no yoga in my town, so alone, I acheived many goals through this site and it has been a blessing. My other inspiration was my grandson, who passed away at 18 months, as well as my own children and grandchildren. I aspire to learn from the many yogis who have found happiness in their lives.
A little more about me
I could really use some yogi friends! Oh, and something I thought was very interesting....Veda is my middle name and for all my years I never knew what that meant and where it came from...and to find yoga and find the terms vedas in there was enlightening!!

Peace is something we have wherever we go, whatever we do, we find peace within no matter where our day brings us!

Society often tries to 'create' peace through the external when it is simply within us ready to shine outwards.
