My hobbies/interests are
Gardening, scrapbooking, fitness,family
One secret that helps me to stay healthy is
Staying eager to learn from the latest studies, read a lot! And, keep your mind open to trying new things. Lately, I've been into learning about natural ways to heal my body.
My wellness goals are
Weight Loss! All of my physical problems since turning 40 are, I believe, from carrying excess weight around. When I realize my weight loss goal, my body won't have to work so hard.
I see myself achieving my wellness goals by
Yoga, yoga and more yoga, making good food choices and laughing!
My inspirations are
My sister-in-law. At age 50 she decided to change her body through body building. And, although that's not for me, she looks amazing and at 52 her body is the envy of everyone!
A little more about me
I am married to my boyfriend and have three amazing teenagers!

in the great effort to relieve back pain and encourage my body to hold on to treatment from my osteopath, I'm trying every yoga/pilates practice for backs. Today's hour long yoga rescue for the back was wonderful. Challenging at times, but i feel soooo good right now!

lower back care and core support! Awesome. This was one of the best back openers I've done so far. Felt warn and fuzzy!

vira yoga with shiva rea! Yeah, baby, that was intense. It was marked moderate, but it was more intermediate. Wrists got sore, so need to work on placement. This workout was good for the muscles. Challenge today is to eat well.

Yesterday I did the belly dance power - wow! what a workout! Today, Just One Dance Vinyasa. It was intense for me, but felt good to "workout". I've lost 3 pounds only doing yoga for the last two weeks. Can't wait to see muscle tone, although can already see a difference in flexibility. Still have a long way to go...

I thought it would be good to take a day off yesterday, but all day I felt like I was missing something. Today, it felt good to get another practice in. Results are slow, but sure.

Day 7! And, Aunt Flow showed up last night, so took it easy with two short morning flows. Feelling accomplished and really starting to feel it when i don't make good food choices. eww. I'll do better next meal.

Day 6 - feeling pretty tight and sore from yesterday's 73 minute vinyasa. So, took it easy today with two short morning flows. Feeling good and relaxed. A good day to work on mindfulness

Day 5 - Bring On The Day Vinyasa! Wow! that was 73 minutes of just a little too much. But, I did what I could and didn't force it. I feel soooo good and warm and relaxed! Awesome! I almost got wound up in stress when it took me over an hour to get my computer to behave. But, this new mindset of letting go is working for me today!

Day 3 - workout 3! Procrastinated much this morning. Finally talked myself into doing the practice. Idk why. Felt so good after. Hard for my mind to think that something so simple and gentle will help me become fit. This after many many years doing vigorous workouts, of course. But, I believe in this. It's my only hope to healing my body.
