    I walk home and enjoy the sights, sounds and smells around me...my senses are usually on hyper drive at this point. When I get home I either have raw fruit or veggies and drink tons of water.

    I open my eyes, take one final deep breath, stand up, lean over and roll up my mat....and go on with the rest of my day, or evening...but more calmly and grounded than had I NOT done yoga. I am more aware, and more patient and focused on whatever comes...

    Yoga helps me sort through my thoughts; it brings my life into better perspective. Since I love writing and it's one of my primary outlets, I'll usually write in my journal or start a new piece (poetry or story) after doing yoga.
