Yoga Aid World Challenge Kicks off Sunday
Posted on September 7th, 2012

Make a world of difference with your yoga practice this Sunday! My Yoga Online supports the Yoga Aid World Challenge, a worldwide yoga relay bringing together 20,000 yogis in 35 countries and supporting some of the world's most beautiful causes. Because Yoga Aid's fundraising platform is yogi-built, 100% of donations go directly to charities such as imagine1day and the Africa Yoga Project.
The Yoga Aid World Challenge kicks off early on Sunday morning, September 9, in Sydney, Australia and follows the sun with events kicking off every 30 minutes around the globe.
Vancouver yogis are invited to join Semperviva Yoga from 3-5pm for an all styles class led by My Yoga Online teachers Bernie Clark, Cameron Gilley, and Gloria Latham.
In Whistler, yogis can get their downdog on with Früv Freedomwear at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler from 10am-12pm. Check out the Yoga Aid Whistler Facebook page here.
Along with a class in New York, you can also join the celebration at Los Angeles’ Santa Monica Pier for a class organized by Wanderlust Yoga in the City.
