Question: What’s your favorite after-practice activity that sustains your flow?
A big hit in the My Yoga Online office, the After Practice Pullover from Tonic Lifestyle Apparel is made from a sensuous, skin-loving mix of bamboo, organic cotton, and spandex. It’s hypoallergenic, absorbs moisture, and dries fast. The grey-mix colour matches nearly anything in our active wear wardrobe. Plus, it feels like putting on a hug.
Canadian designed and manufactured, Tonic began in March 2004 as a lifestyle line of clothing for today's modern women. Particularly inspired by the healthy and active west coast lifestyle, the line works for women who want pieces that are both highly functional and stylish.
Going beyond their initial idea to meet the needs of yoga practitioners, Tonic’s line of active wear works for any physical discipline. For proof, simply look to the company’s ‘Active Spirits’—the many fitness and yoga pros across North America who love the line including: Anne Green, track and field Olympian, Misha West, professional figure skater, and My Yoga Online teacher and YYoga studio director Christine Price Clark.

After my morning practice I brew a pot of rooibus, and settle down in front of the computers for a day's work. Although I do like the idea of a short walk for a breath of fresh carbon monoxide!

I keep 10 mins subsequent to my practice for myself to just sit, think and reflect. I write all my worries down on a piece of paper, all my goals and all the joys in my life at that time. My 'worry list' then seems to wash away.. I am now ready for my day!

My morning practices with my boyfriend jump-start our days! We usually finish with a bowl of hot oats, nuts, seeds and honey. Our morning practice centers me and prepares us for our busy lives! On the weekends I love to hit the mountains for some fresh air- a great hike or a run is the best compliment to my yoga practice!

After I peel myself off the mat, all I can normally do is jump into the shower and run around getting ready, preparing lunch and then racing off to work. This may sound like the last thing anybody would want to do after a relaxing yoga practice but this is actually something I love doing after I've done a yoga class.
On the days when I've stretched and breathed life into my mornings, I can run around and do all the things I have to do with a smile on my face, light in my heart and lungs that are open enough to take in the huge breaths required to face a day in a classroom of 11 year olds.
Thank you my yoga !!
