Question: What’s your favorite way to stay active off the mat?
Michelle Trantina, My Yoga Online co-founder and Hatha and prenatal yoga teacher, is a big fan of Public Myth’s bamboo tunic. It’s not hard to understand why: Bamboo has a natural sheen and softness that feels and drapes like silk—but it’s more durable. It wicks water away from the body three to four times faster than cotton and is more breathable. Plus, the top’s design—a hip-length slinky hooded v-neck with longer-than-usual sleeves—means it’s cozy yet flattering.
We like what Public Myth is about, too. Committed to providing functional active lifestyle clothing with a rock star vibe, Public Myth pieces feature raw edging, patchwork, buttons and metallic threads—all featured on technically superior active wear fabrics including the bamboo/cotton blend and a soft moisture wicking technical Supplex stretch fabric. The company, headed up by former professional personal trainer and exercise advocate Kerry Pollock, is also committed to helping create a better tomorrow. Products are sustainable, using eco-friendly fabrics. Manufacturing is exclusive to North America. Recycling and keeping jobs close to home is also important.

Dancing - samba, tango or even just to a great pop song in the radio. And biking to and from work. However, due to pregnancy somplications, yoga's all that's allowed at the moment, so I really enjoy my prenatal yoga...

Chasing after my dogs when they run out the door! Chasing after my cats to save a bird they caught! Dancing and singing around the house as both the cats and dogs watch me mesmerized! Sneaking a little yoga stretch as I am standing on line at the bank and pretending like it´s the most normal thing in the world!
