Question: Where has your mat taken you? What poses have you rocked?
Jade Yoga mats come in a whole range of vibrant colours. They’ve also got enough grip so we don’t slide even during the most powered-up power class. They’re comfortable during savasana and—here’s the best part—they’re eco-friendly. Jade mats are made sustainably with natural rubber from rubber trees, a renewable resource. Unlike other mats, they don’t contain PVC, EVA or other synthetic rubber. They’re made in the United States in compliance with all US environmental, labor and consumer protection laws. And, Jade plants a tree for every mat sold.
Plenty of big-name yogis are fans of Jade Yoga mats. If you go to their site you’ll see pics of Seane Corne, Sharon Gannon and David Life, Shiva Rea, Dharma Mittra, Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa, Cyndi Lee, Baron Baptiste, and Duncan Wong. P.s. Watch yoga videos of Sharon Gannon and David Life, Shiva Rea, and Dharma Mittra here on My Yoga Online.

My yoga mat has taken me to realize how important it is to take care of my body and my mind. It has made me a stronger and more passionate about my personal well being and the well being of the environment. It has forced myself to dream again and remember I can make anything happen that I truly put my mind to. My mat has taught me to be more positive and look forward to the future and SMILE and Laugh, not everything needs to be so serious.

My mat has taken me to better health, strength, and flexibility in body, breath, and spirit. I rock savasana. Many people have difficulty letting go into the final relaxation, but I enter this sensation with complete gratitude and appreciation.

my mat has taken me to Dallas, Mexico, and my father's sick bed. It goes with me everywhere. It keeps me calm and enables me to help others. It has been to a lot of workshops and classes. It is unravelled every morning and sometimes evenings. It is a friend like no others have been.

Every time I've felt like I'm losing control and forgetting what it takes to be calm and happy and peaceful, being on my mat- practicing yoga- has helped me remember what it takes to feel that way again. I've had the same mat for 8+ years!!!

My mat was waiting for me when I needed reassurance and has held my hand on my journey. My mat has helped me rock Hanumanasana while leading a whole class to explore their personal limits and let go of their preconceived notions about their abilities.

My mat has taken me to the only exercise regimen I have ever been able to maintain for longer than a few weeks. I want to say that I've rocked every pose that I have given my all to, but I can't help taking just a little bit of pride in being able to achieve utrasana, camel pose.

My mat has taken me to a whole new level in my relationship with my body and my husband. We are doing yoga together to get in shape as our new years resolution and it is bringing us closer and making us stronger individually and together.

I am brand new to yoga. I ordered a beginner's yoga dvd and am looking forward to getting started. My goal is to become more limber, less stiff, and perhaps lose some weight. I do not have a mat yet, so winning one would be awesome!

I appreciate my current mat - despite being synthetic (my budget didn't allow for a really nice mat), it has served me well, being a base for my beginner poses. Now that I recognize that success in yoga is not just a matter of flexibility, I think that having an ecologically sound mat will improve my peace of mind and deeper yoga practice.

I don't have a mat ...... I'm new to yoga so it's understandable. I'm a rock climber by heart and have reached a point where my flexibility and breathing needs to be improved. All I can say about what position ive rocked, well erm.... I rock rocks??

My mat has been incorporated in to an incredible journey of healing. It has come along for the ride and been a part of healing. My mat has had me boldly go into places I have not ventured before with breath. My lungs know it. My belly knows it. My muscles know it as I breathe openness to them through the strength of the spirit that lives and moves and breathes in the midst of me. My mat has taken me places that I could only go because of the determination and discipline afforded to me. My mat has taken me places and I have learned how to be humble and to yield. I have learned compassion. I step on my mat and I am thankful for the strength to do what I do with the limitations I have in my muscles. I am thankful for each movement and the flow from one pose to the next. Half moon is my favorite because I feel my body speak to me and tell me I am ready to go to the next level. I feel my body lift up and begin to bring my supporting hand to my heart. Squatting is another favorite when it leads me into shooting my legs back into low pushup. My mat is my friend. It reminds me that I am not alone in my healing whether the practice be hard or whether it be easy. My mat reminds me to listen to my body and to obey its voice and to be "gentle" with it. My mat humbles me when I fall out of poses, but I am thankful that I don't get discourage. I move back into it. By the power invested in me I don't quit unless I am supposed to quit. My mat has taken me to places physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I think it has taken me all around the world. Written by Olympia Clark

My yoga mat has been all over the place. I always feel comfort when it is attached to the side of my pack when I am embarking on a journey. I am currently working on balancing poses like crow, which I find very challenging and uplifting as I further progress :)
