Tuesday Yoga Giveaway: A Bundle of Natures Path Products
Posted on April 3rd, 2012

Question: How do you give back to the community?
Nature’s Path Organic Foods gives back with their Love Crunch line of unique granolas. With the “Bite4Bite” program, the company will donate an equivalent amount of cereal to local food banks for every bag of Love Crunch purchased, up to $1 million per year. Their intention is to spread the love, one spoonful at a time.
What started as a limited edition premium granola was too much of a hit not to bring back. Nature’s Path premium Love Crunch granola has been re-released, this time with four flavours: Apple Crumble, Carrot Cake, Aloha Blend and the original favourite, Dark Chocolate & Red Berries. With healthy organic ingredients such as rolled oats, soy oil, evaporated cane juice, rolled spelt, flax seeds and a wide variety of flavours it’s easy to fall in love.
Nature’s Path Organic Foods doesn’t just give back to the community; they also give back to the environment. Their British Columbia-based company boasts an on-site organic garden, large compost bins, a rooftop garden, and a rainwater harvesting system. They believe in sustainability and being socially responsible, all while producing healthy products that taste delicious.

Helping people is my passion and that's part of how I give back to my community. I work three jobs, one as a Yoga Instructor at a fantastic studio called Under the Yoga Tree where I'm able to help, lead, and watch people transform their minds, bodies and lives.
My full time job as an Emergency Medical Responder working week on week off, tending to people's medical issues/emergencies big and small. In between those I'm a local photographer and also in school becoming a Holistic Nutritionist; as I do, performing case studies helping friends and co-workers manage their diet and health naturally.
The last two years I've donated my art (painting and photography) to our local Art Auction which keeps the Art Gallery up and running and free to the community.
And if you consider the rest of the world as all our community, following the theory we are all one, I've been sponsoring a little boy in India and a little girl in El Salvador for three years.

I give back to the community by serving on several committees that have been develop to support, educate, provide funding and education to local shelters and 501- c3s that focus on women and child.
By being so involved with fundraiser and the local businesses that support our cause, I have developed more and more personal relationships with wondering local businesses that support or wonderfully overflowing non-profit community.
Our small town has 150+ non-profit organizations and every member of the community that I know gives back multiple times a year. We all encourage, support and attend all of the events in town.
So to wrap it up, I may stretch myself thin by donating time, money, energy, effort and emotion; however, I am really only doing the exact same thing that everyone else in the community is doing!
