MyYogaOnline on the Hot List at VOGUE and National Geographic
Posted on February 27th, 2012
We’re a fairly modest bunch...but when we get news about people who truly inspire us using our site, we’ve just gotta share.
First up was a Tweet from @AbuWerda to our CEO @jasonjacobson.
“Note the computer screen at 24:45... #Myyogaonline (Clara) makes a brief appearance on the show! bit.ly/zbjmSO”
@AbuWerda just happens to be an archaeologist, exercise and nutrition enthusiast, and domestic zookeeper named Jeffrey Rose. He also happens to use our site while travelling and working. During his recent involvement with the show Diving Into Noah’s Flood on National Geographic TV, he was filmed settling onto his mat to take a break.
Check out where we come in at 0:53.
Next came an excited message from our friends at Blue Canoe, who stumbled across this little ditty in the March 2012 issue of VOGUE magazine:
“Kate Lindsey, a doe-eyed mezzo soprano from Virginia whose limitless physicality galvanized the Metropolitan Opera’s winter production of Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel. As Hansel, she darted around the stage, a gangly beanpole of a boy with a warm, unwavering pitch. As Kate she is optimistic and easygoing, a weekend hiker who lives in Seattle with her husband and relies myyogaonline.com while on tour.”
Yup, there you have it folks, MyYogaOnline.com is not only on the hot list for yogis and 9 to 5ers—it’s also tops with documentary makers/archaeologists/zookeepers and opera singers.
We’re thrilled to be part of their lives, and have them as part of our community.
p.s. Know any other inspiring types who use our site? Please let us know!
