Hunki - [huhng-kee] noun. Oh yes im your Hunki for sure. I dive headlong into new things. I am an original New Yorker and attitude and style come natural although over time I have adopted a more gentle loving way. This has come through yogic practices and Buddhist studies , 27 years of nursing, and contending with MS. I do not feel sorry but view MS as a gift given to slow me down and divert me along alternate paths. Weekly you can see me cantoring around a horse rink and in summer kayaking and swimming long distances. At music festivals I bring my wheel chair to negotiate the large venue as I dont want to be stuck in one place just because my legs are tired. I am a common sight at the rhythm and roots 3 day festival popping wheelies in my chair in my festival duds. I save my legs for dancing and am known for always being the first one up on the floor. No drinks needed! So let me be your Hunki cause I have limited funds for gear not being able to do nursing anymore and I can sure use some stuff for yoga classes and Krishna Das chanting weekends.

I feel I have always been hunki in one way or another. I often have watched, listened, and read to what i like, no matter what others like or think. I am continually looking to learn even if it seems unconventional. I feel more people should find their hunki and everyone would be much happier!
