Flow naturally into the elements of Autumn with My Yoga Online's latest yoga video by Melina Meza: Fall Seasonal Vinyasa Flow
In Ayurveda, the fall season is associated with the dosha – uneven energy pattern – called Vata, which is composed of the elements Air and Space and which promotes movement. As essential as Vata is to our health, it can become chaotic during September through November, when Nature is in an unstable place. This class embraces physical practices that complement the Vata elements of fall with grounding, stabilizing, warming, flow sequences and daily routines. Extra TLC is given to the legs, colon, lungs, and bones, where Vata can be in excess or depleted during fall.
