It’s funny that you mention yoga and shoulder injuries. I suffered a shoulder injury years ago that tormented me day and night. It prevented me from being able to sleep, limited my ability to be on a computer for long periods of time as well as prevented me from being able to exercise without pain.
In December, I started practicing yoga as well as started visiting a post rehab personal trainer. Between all the stretching in yoga, combined with strengthening of all the muscles that stabilize the scapula, I have made a 180 degree turn in the right direction for my shoulders health.
I am now slowly working towards building my own combination of Crossfit training and Yoga to hopefully build a strong, healthy functional shoulder!

Great to hear that Yoga has complimented your shoulder recovery. Cross training is the best way to go whether one is rehabilitating an injury, maintaining health, or building towards an athletic program. Cross training reduces the development of chronic imbalances as well as generates more motivation and consistency in following an exercise program.
