    I’ve enjoyed various board sports (surfing, skateboarding, and snowboarding) since the age of 15, and I didn’t think these wild activities could get any better until I found yoga. Sparks lit up throughout my personal life and athletic endeavors when I began practicing yoga regularly at 19. Not only could I enjoy newfound peace amidst the turmoil of young adult angst, but in my board sports I also noticed significant changes. Thanks to yoga I developed muscle tone, improved balance, reduced stiffness after hours on my board, and a newly vamped gratitude towards my surrounding natural environment had increased a thousand fold.
