What is My Yoga Online?

We are a subscription based service offering on demand video. Our large selection of classes are broadcast straight over the internet. Unlimited access costs $9.95 per month or $89.95 per year. We charge a small monthly fee so that we do not have to place ads or commercials in our videos.

MyYoga Online allows you to view unlimited practices in Yoga, Pilates, Meditation, Health and Wellness, using state of the art "streaming" technology.

Will My Yoga Online work with my wireless network?

Yes. You can view our material on most wireless networks. If you have a laptop you can do your practice almost anywhere in the house, while traveling at your hotel, and at work, anywhere you can receive a wireless connection.

My video does not play

The following is required to experience My Yoga Online:

  1. A broadband connection (DSL, Cable, or Satellite). You will need at least an Ultra Lite connection.
    • Lite connection and dial-up will not support our videos at this time.
    • Please contact your internet provider if you are unsure of your connection.
    • You will need at least an internet speed of 550kbps to view the videos, or you may experience video and sound break ups. Check your download streaming speed here: http://www.bandwidthplace.com/
  2. Windows 7, Vista, XP, 98, 2000, or Mac OS X version 10.1.5 or later.
  3. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, or Netscape.
  4. Flash Player 10,0,115,0 or newer
  5. For iPad and iPhone streaming you will need a wifi connection to guarantee quality streaming video.
  6. For further help please view our system requirements.

    NOTE: If you have a Mac computer and are having troubles viewing our videos. Please do the following...

    - Go to the video you wish to view.
    - hold down ctrl key and click video when it attempts to play (If you have a PC and are having streaming issues, you can right click the video)
    - A popup will come up.  Click Settings
    - Another small box will open.  Click the tiny computer screen on the bottom left of the box.
    - You will see "Enable hardware acceleration".  Uncheck this box.
    - Click close.
    - Refresh or reload the browser page.

    The videos should play with no problems now. If you are still having issues, please contact us at http://www.myyogaonline.com/about-us/contact-us and tell us whether you are using a Mac or PC.

My screen saver keeps interrupting my practice. How do I disable it?

On most Windows systems you can right-click anywhere on the desktop, click on "Properties," then click on the "Screen Saver" tab at the top of the dialog box.

From there you can disable your screen saver or adjust the settings so it will not come on for over an hour.

For most Mac systems, go to the Apple icon and click "System Preferences". Under "Hardware", click "Energy Saver". Then set the computer and display to sleep after 1.5 hours or more, or choose "Never".

Can I view the practices full screen?

Yes. To view your practices full screen just click the full screen symbol in the bottom right of the video player. Press esc button to come out of full screen.

How do I cancel my recurring membership?

To cancel your recurring membership payments, login and then go to MY ACCOUNT in the top tool bar - there you will find the CANCEL feature.

What is the best way to partake in MYO's videos?

To help you get the most out of My Yoga Online here are a few suggestions.

Establish your environment by turning off the radio, television and even the telephone so that you can devote yourself fully to your practice. You may want to lower the lights or light a candle.

Yoga is best performed on an empty stomach, but not completely hungry. It is best to wait at least 1 to 2 hours time after you eat.

Take off your shoes and socks. Bare feet are essential especially for standing poses.

Wear comfortable clothes. Choose clothing that does not inhibit movement and stretching. Anything is fine as long as it is comfortable.

We recommend familiarizing yourself with the video or audio material before performing the practice. You can fast forward if you would like, using the controls on the screen.

Your favorite practices can be added to your Favorites Practices for easy reference in the future. Be sure and choose a video with a practice level that is right for your experience.

The volume should be at a comfortable level.

We suggest viewing the practices at Full Screen. Just click the full screen button in the bottom right hand corner of the video player. Press esc button to come out of full screen.

Do not skip the mediation or cool-down (Savasana) period at the end of the practice. The entire class is part of a complete mind-body process. These aspects of the class are key.

Most important of all, have fun with your practice. This is not a competition so remember not to push beyond your comfort level. Yoga will teach you to listen to your body. The smaller the steps you take the greater the rewards.
