Video Description

This yoga class begins with a challenging, repeating sequence of upper and lower body yoga poses that develop significant warmth and strength. This warmth is taken into a core series that generates flexibility while conditioning body awareness. This practice is a complimentary alternative to traditional Power/Vinyasa style yoga flows.

If the single leg push ups are to challenging, simply modify by leaving the foot down in the plank position then lift the correct side during the cobra pose (hip extension). The instruction is to return the foot down to the floor prior to the next down dog so you are already there. Single leg push ups are tough especially when the core is out of balance. Practicing them off the mat is a great way to develop more core stability and glute strength. Practice in an isometric contraction or what I call "time under tension" (10-60 seconds) and you will see in a short time you will be able to do the moving push up (isotonic) more easily. the sequence kreg has formulated is awesome! I love it! Kreg is obviously a master of core balancing and training and his free flowing mind is admirable. Good work Kreg! Keep it coming! Aloha, Bud
