Pilates Mat is a series of floor exercises designed by Joseph Pilates. In this class you will learn the foundations of Pilates; breath, concentration, control, centering and precision. These exercises are designed to uniformly strengthen the body as a whole creating a balance of strength and flexibility.

Erin Murphy's interest in movement and dance began at age 5. She danced in Vancouver, training at Arts Umbrella’s professional program at and then the Ballet B.C. Mentor program. Her dance career took her to Montreal and then to New York City. Through dance Erin began to study Pilates in NYC and loved the strength, energy and movement it gave her in her body.
